do they ever wear out?
n when i order if i got springs for a heavier car would my 4door
intrepid ride better?
its the largest they make. 97' 3.5 liter. automatic. think just under
3000lbs.

if you get heavier springs, your car will rise and will probably ride nearly
the same. your shocks will do all the dampening, but it now requires more
force to move the car side to side.

I recently got springs for my 4 cylinder VW, the springs came from a lowered
V6 VW. Well the car rode about 1.5 inches higher, even though the new
springs were an inch shorter.

as for wearing out...most likel, no. Durability and quality vary from
manufacturer. If they are OEM, they will probably last forever.
